today we will be talking all about the brand new CINEMA 4D or 19 prorender
the gpu rendering solution inside cinema4d
我们要讲讲关于全新的CINEMA 4D或19的所有实时渲染的知识,也就是CINEMA 4D中的实时渲染解决方案

we are gonna be talking about all the settings and it's right for you
我们要谈到所有的设置,还有是否适合你

so let's learn about prorender
所以来学学实时渲染吧

here we are in Cinema 4d R19
我们这里是在CINEMA4D R19里面

we are talking prorender today and prorender is your physically based gpu render
我们今天要说的是prorender,它是基于物理的GPU渲染

just like arnold, but it's built into cinema4d
跟arnold一样,它是内建在cinema4d里面的

so it's very tightly integrated
它的集成很紧密

and how you get prorender working is by simply doing one thing
你让prorender工作的方式是简单的做这件事情

going to your render settings, going to your render dropdown menu
到你的渲染设置中,进入渲染下拉菜单里面

and going to prorender, and I just close that.
进入prorender,我刚关闭了它

and to get our prorender moving and grooving
为了让prorender运行

we just go up to the prorender menu
到上面的prorender菜单中

and just say start prorender
然后说开始prorender

and what it's gonna do is comple your shader and it's gonna start doing its thing
它要做的就是编译你的shader,并且它要开始做它自己的事情

our scene is dark right now.
我们的场景现在很暗

and the main reason for that is our prorender is physically based
主要原因是因为我们的prorender是基于物理的

if you do not have an environment or a light in your scene everything is going to be dark
如果你的场景中没有环境或者光源,就会很黑了

the only thing you can see in my viewport right now is material with xxx turned on
现在你在视图中可以看到的就是启用了XXX的材质

so that's the only reason you can see these things over here.
这是你可以看到这些东西的唯一的原因

so what that means is we are using physically based lights,physically based material
它的意思就是说我们是在使用基于物理的灯光,基于物理的材质

physically based hdr images that will cast that physically based light
基于物理的HDR图像,它会投射基于物理的灯光

so we need an environment light to be able to light the scene
我们需要有一个环境光源来照明场景

so what we are gonna do is just use a sky object now
我们要做的是使用一个天空对象

prorender doesn't use physical sky so you need to use a normal sky
prorender是不用基于物理的天空的,你要用一个普通的天空

so you need to use a normal sky

you will see once I put a sky in my scene
